Hoping to extend their buffer at the top of the Ykkonen table on Thursday afternoon, Mikkeli will travel to the Veritas Stadion when they meet TPS Turku.

Opening the midweek fixtures holding a two-point buffer over the chasing pack and now seen as a leading contender to make a top-flight return in 2023, Juha Pasoja’s men have lost just one of their last 11 straight domestic appearances across all competitions a run that stems all the way back to April 16th. With their extended purple patch highlighted by an action-packed 4-3 victory against JJK Jyvaskyla earlier in the month, Mikkeli have also gained a reputation for their lively showdowns on the road. Last seen on their travels claiming a 2-1 win against SalPa on June 4th, it is worth highlighting that Thursday’s guests have seen each of their last four away fixtures finish with both teams finding the net.
